StartupCamp was as great as MashupCamp. Lots of great people, lots of passion, lots of energy. It was great to see familiar faces as well as new ones.
The difference was that StartupCamp, as the name implies, was more focused on businesses, not mashup sites. It was great to see so many people with either launched businesses or in the process of doing something on their own. And the presence of VCs was very useful.
I presented two sessions, one on my favorite topic of "User Acquisition and Retention", and the other on "How to Make a Good VC Pitch", which we co hosted along with Susan Wu of CRV.
I wish I had a camera with me - but you can find pictures on flickr. Once I get a chance I'll post some of them here.
