My Talks at StartupCamp

I had two sessions at StartupCamp. Fortunately I got a lot of positive feedback - on both sessions - afterwards from people who attended.

The first session was on "User Acquisition and Retention". We discussed how to layer users from those who do not know about a service such as Frucall, all the way to what we call "active" users. Different techniques should be employed to "convert" users from each layer to the next. Peter Kazanjy and Jennifer Yoon did a great job at making sure that the detailed were documented on tha Camp Wiki. Here's notes from Frucall's User Acquisition and Retention Session.

The second session was on "How to Make a Good VC Pitch" and was co-hosted with Susan Wu of Charles River Ventures. It was a great session because the audience could get the point of view of both the entrepreneur and the VC. I have not had a chance to put the notes on the Camp Wiki, but I just noticed that Susan has blogged about it. She has a few great points from the point of view of the VC receiving pitches.
