At some point I will give you some background as to how Frucall came about, but right now let me tell you what it is. Frucall is a comparison shopping service to be used via your cell phone, i.e., by making a phone call when you're out shopping.
Comparison shopping web sites are great and there are so many of them. But if you're like me and prefer to "see" and "touch" before you buy, you know that it's too much hassle to combine in-store and online shopping. You go to a store, look around, select some items, write down the information about what you've liked, go back home, search the Internet, and you may even end up going to the store again next day simply because after all the research you find the store deal a good one.
Well, Frucall let's you do just that on the spot. If you're in a store and you've liked something, take your cell phone out, call Frucall, and see what the online prices are. And hey, if you like the online deal, maybe it makes sense to place the order right there from your cell phone. Cool? We think so. To be Frugal, just make a call. That's what we call "Frucalling" :-)
